The "before" state
How everything looked before I started
In the years leading up to 2020 the studio was maybe used once or twice. With the first potential productions coming up, I took it as an opportunity to revive it into something usable again. I asked a bunch of my friends to help me clean it up, stating that it “wouldn’t take long”. Three days later the room was usable again.
Creating plans
Before I connected everything I started making drafts of plans that I wanted to print out, so that even when I’m not there everyone knows how everything is interconnected with eachother.
Setting up
After creating plans on how I’m going to wire everything I set off and actually started connecting everything together. I tried to make everything as organised and flexible as possible.

Production for ARD Morgenmagazin
The pictures shown above are from the second production we had, this time the easter special. In the first instance (Christmas Special), I was the PTZ Camera Operator (In-House) and in the second instance I was the main Audio Engineer. In general, as resident technical production manager, I was responsible for everything we delivered to the production van outside.
gourmondo.tv Productions
Together with the production company Karma, I set up the studio beforehand. During the shoot, I was the audio engineer again, while also being responsible for the In-House provided electronics, which was everything except the video mixer, which the production company brought themselves.
