Intro / Project & Idea

When in-person culinary events were cancelled, I developed a fully digital alternative: interactive online cooking classes that companies could offer to their employees and customers.

Working independently, I handled every aspect of the project, from building the website and booking system to setting up the studio, cameras, and livestream via WebEx. The goal was to make the experience seamless for both the client companies and their participants: book, receive ingredients, and cook together online: all without technical friction.

Result

Within just two days, I launched a scalable end-to-end digital event system. Corporate clients could direct their participants to a single website to book and pay online, automatically receive personalized confirmation emails and a PDF guidebook with recipes and WebEx login details. Each booking automatically forwarded addresses to our grocery partner, who delivered fresh ingredients to participants’ homes.

On the production side, I personally managed the entire technical setup: configuring cameras, lighting, and audio for multi-angle coverage, including a custom overhead slider-mounted camera for immersive cooking views. Each livestream was broadcast over WebEx, enabling real-time interaction between the chef and hundreds of participants across different companies.

The project successfully transformed a local workshop concept into a scalable digital product, combining technical execution, UX design, and logistical automation: all under one coordinated system.
